I enjoyed my stay at the Amata resort and highly recommend it. The staff were very friendly, professional and helpful. The resort was clean and well kept. The roof top pool could do with some shade but had a fantastic view. The stairs in the older building get tiresome after the second floor. They could do away with the service stairs at the end of the building to install a lift. Breakfast had a large variety available with ample seating. The resort is well positioned with only a 5 minute walk to the main shopping center, Jungceylon and Bangla Rd if you are looking for the night life. The Otop markets and bars are only a 10 minute walk in the opposite direction with lots of tour stores to plan your days out. Make sure you shop around for good prices.
