"We really enjoyed our stay at the Horizon Karon privilege wing. The staff were all very friendly and the breakfasts were amazing. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable, the bed was harder than we are use to but we did get use to it. There is a free tuk-tuk up and down the hill, if you don't wish to walk, they also have a free tuk-tuk to patong 4 times a day. The pool was really nice with the pool bar. The only negative I could find was that it was hard to get an icy cold beer. Would definitely stay there again."

"I stayed at the Lantern Resort Patong for 2 nights, the room was very clean and spacious, large bathroom and good shower with a separate bath. The staff were excellent and due to it being the Songkran Thai New Year Festival the pool bar was closed but they still delivered drinks and food from the restaurant. The only slight disturbance was music coming from the club next door which goes on until 6am and I was on the wrong side of the building, but it wasn't too bad, probably louder than normal due to the festival. Highly recommended!"

"That was a cool place to stay. Staff has been friendly, and the room was clean, with free water provided, boiling water for coffee and tea, a plasma TV, and large window on the outside. This resort is top class, we found it perfect in every way. The day trippers on the beach weren't ideal as there were a lot of them but they don't arrive until mid morning and leave mid afternoon. Anyway they are private loungers available for hotel guests and the amazing infinity pool.
